Flooring
Strip flooring is a versatile solid wood product, tongue and
grooved on four sides. It is suitable for use as a structural
floor laid on to joists or battens, or it can be laid over
an existing floor. Strip lengths vary depending on the grade
of material:
 Rustic
grade lengths range from 225mm to 1300mm and have
open knots and colour variation.
Factory grade lengths
range from 225mm to 1600mm and have small knots or colour
variation.
Prime or Select grade lengths range from
225mm to 1600mm and have minimal knots and minimum colour
variation.
Strip flooring should not be used as a floating floor and
must always be securely fixed by secret nailing.
