Our engineered oak is 20mm thick in total with 6mm of solid oak glued onto a high quality ply. It is perfect for use with underfloor heating as due to the manufacturing technique, shrinkage when the heating is on is reduced to a bare minimum. There is still the advanage of being able to renovate the floor in the future because of the thickness of the ware layer i.e. 6mm. The boards are available either unsealed or presealed or stained and sealed.
